Take that was really the opposite in my youth to the "indie" etc I used to listen to, but much to my disgust I am really liking the new Take That. Especially Gary - help me?????

Does anyone else think Ronan lies about his age? He's been about 26 for the last decade. I'm sure I remember him being older than me, yet I appear to have overtaken him!

I never post on AIBU but in this case have to... fancying Gary is very reasonable although I do prefer him silent/singing. His speaking voice has always put me off a bit.

All slebs knock a few years off their age, don't they? Most of them do it at the start, though, to avoid inconsistency! Which is why you get boy-bands full of supposed 16-year-olds who are all really about 20. Their management is thinking ahead to the revival tour in 15 years...

Paloma Faith and Florence are two main offenders in this regard. They both claim to be in their early 20s and yet are pretty obviously women of 30 or over.

The main thing I know about Ronan is that he had his teeth "done" and this involved having them all taken out and re-set. Until I read that I always thought it was a simple operation involving a local anaesthetic and the re-setting of one or two of them. If you look at Cheryl from about 2003, she's obviously had the same thing done!
