Period is very late and if I am pregnant is most definitley unplanned. Am not in a good situation with work/money right now and would put a huge pressure on both of us if I was. Have DD 3years and would love more but really bad timing. Having said that I would not even consider an abortion - just not for me although understand why some people might.

So AIBU to have us both lying awake all night worrying when it might be negative or should I go for the problem shared is a problem halved?

The result will be accurate in 3 minutes- dont leave it too much longer or you could get evaporation lines which may look like its positive

MadLenny · 24/03/2010 09:21

Sorry folks, postie came to the door.
Not pregnant.

AIBU to be a teensy bit disappointed? Would've been a huge stress for us but was kind of getting used to the idea of a new wee bundle

Thanks for all your interest tho x

YANBU I was in a similar position and was dissapointed with a negative although a new bundle would have been a huge stress

havinganightin · 24/03/2010 09:23

Hi MadLenny

Glad you got the result you wanted (needed?)

I am sure it is normal to feel a bit disappointed. I am sure you had been stealing yourself for another outcome ...

MmeLindt · 24/03/2010 09:23

Damn postie.

YANBU to be disappointed, just a little bit.

I was 6 days late this month and on the verge of testing, even though I knew it was highly unlikely that I could be pregnant.

RedRedWine1980 · 24/03/2010 09:25

Everytime if thought 'whoops I could be pregnant and I really dont want to be' even when the test came up negative I felt a bit so its perfectly normal.
Hope you are okay.

ReneRusso · 24/03/2010 09:26

Ah, what a shame. Hope you sort out your work/money worries and have another in the not too distant future x
