My little girl has cradle cap. I'm just sick to death of people stopping me in the street and giving me unwanted advice on how to treat it.

It's not that bad and it will just go in it's own time. Until then, mind your own bloomin business!!

Just tell them "yer - it stops the nits stickin' to 'er 'ead+ and walk off scratching furiously

Have you tried baby oil?

I'm sure people mean well but Yeah I'm sure it grates after a while!

I had a lovely time scraping the bits of cradle crap that had set up home on my DD forehead. Softened it up with E45 first and then gently scraped, it was akin to squeezing a big blackhead. Sheer joy.

DD1 had it until she was around four. Then enough was enough- I got in the bath with her, softened it all with warm water and baby shampoo and scraped it all off with a nit comb. It never came back
Opinions are like arseholes especially when it comes to children. Best thing to do is put a hat on your DD! Or carry a taser for persistent old ladies.
