I've done the same job for a good 6 years now...totally bored with it. Bored with management, bored with the bitching, all the desk moves, their re-hashing of the same old ideas....

I don't feel I'm giving 100% at work or at home and am increasingly feeling that I would like to be SAHM and run the house properly instead of spending my days running around like a headless chicken on a treadmill of paperwork...

Your choice. If you would prefer to be SAHM and can afford it, then why are you asking? Are there any reasons for staying in your job?

Not really...but I just feel nuts if I take a career break given the state of the job market these days as so many people would love to be in a job iyswim?

Are you me? I'mthinking of doing the same, I got so down with work I was signed off with depression. I honestly don't know if I can bring myself to go back. But I'll never get a job paying as good money again, ut on the other hand, I won't go crazy. It's difficult.
