AIBU, to be a bit p*ssed off that my 10 month old was sent home from doctors on Tuesday diagnosed with croup, only to be rushed to A&E with pneumonia!
Thankfully, he's on the mend now after a 3 day stay in hospital, IV antibiotics, and a fluid drip

This seems to be happening alot and honestly I feel for you. My DGD2 was diagnosed with a virus and ended up spending almost aweek on oxygen as she had pneumonia and very low SATS. On the day she was released from hospital DGD4 how had been dignosed with a virus was rushed in with very high temp and breathing difficulties after xrays she was diagnosed with bronchial pneumonia. I t was a really tiring fortnight for the family especially DD3 and DD4 the 2 mums.

I think there is such a severe and fast changing virus that it is catching doctors out and I advise parents to be very careful. My DGD4 is only 9 months and her consultant said her condition could have been much worse if her mum had not been so pushy in getting her down to A&E.
