Could you spray them with some nice scent? What kind are they anyway to smell?

thehillsarealive · 15/03/2010 18:26

haha bet they are lillies they stink!

be grateful, just cut the pollen stems out and they wont smell any longer.

I'm rubbish with names of flowers. They are mostly those ones that fill up space in a bouquet iyswim.

Daren't cover up the smell as I think it'll make it worse.

I have had super human sense of smell since got pg with ds. Ds is almost a year and it's not getting any less sensitive.

SE- but dh would notice (probably) and then ask where they'd gone. And our house is a bit too small to have anywhere I can put them and 'forget' about them.

Not the candyfloss stuff. Things that are a bit daisy ish.

Do they have a green stuff in them that look like berries ?? they stink of wee so I usually chuck them out

chrysanthemums? Split bouquet into a couple of vases, "so you can enjoy it all over the house"...put chrysanths where you won't have to smell 'em all the time (and bin a few in the process, maybe?). And , yes, pluck the stinky pollen out of the lilies...the scent actually makes me feel nauseous.
