to be p'd off at XH posting photos of our DS on FB and adding lots of friends that aren't friends

Subject says it all really. XH has got 300+ 'friends' (potential nutters I think) on facebook and has put lots and lots of pics of DS on. AIBU to feel uncomfortable about this. I'm on FB myself and do have pics of DS - but I have only added real friends.

What are your fears? Have you told him how you feel?

Tell your xh how you feel and explain it's for ds' sake. Ask him to limit who can view the photos, eg. sort his friends into lists - workmates, relatives etc. then only allow relatives to view them? I suppose it depends on your relationship with your x, but I agree with you YANBU.

HQ I havent told him how I feel, we don't talk at the moment. I fear that someone he's added may be a paedophile or knowing what DS looks like may do him harm. My XH used to be a bit of a celeb where we live and has also made lots of enemies over the years. Like I said he's added lots of people who he doesn't know (I know this as one of my mates asked him to add her and he did - he hasn't a clue who she is)

Why would his friends be paedophiles? I think you can have a word but as DS is his son as well I don't think you can ask much more. And I say that as a devoted FB user and mother.

Rockbird - I'm not saying his friends are paedophiles - just that that would be my worst nightmare. I doubt he'd do anything if I said anything anyway, just needed to have a rant

are you sure he doesn't already have his settings so only certain people can see them?

Sorry, I thought you meant you had suspicions. OK, well think rationally, because it sounds like you won't be able to change it, what are you afraid of? What do you think would happen to the photos?
