in the sense of 'as you post so many negative comments on this site, you obviously aren't very happy here'

should bog off?

Are you not happy here? [patronising emoticon]

BitOfFun · 14/03/2010 20:41

Why should they bog off, in your opinion? I don't recall saying it myself, but I must admit that I roll my eyes when people join and then start telling everybody what they think is wrong with the place. It's just rude.

Tiredmumno1 · 14/03/2010 20:42
Hmm
heQet · 14/03/2010 20:44

I would have to disagree. I think that if someone is complaining about every aspect of mumsnet, then pointing out that there are other places out there that might suit them better is not unreasonable.

AnyFucker · 14/03/2010 20:45

have told people to "jog on" when they are acting like a fuckwit

but not meant to mean "leave the site"

everyone has as much right to be here as the next person

but if they start flinging insults around, they have to be prepared to get picked up on it

paisleyleaf · 14/03/2010 20:46

There has been quite a few posts telling us we're doing mumsnet all wrong.
Sometimes it does seem silly that they're here.

curlimum · 14/03/2010 20:46
Biscuit
curlimum · 14/03/2010 20:49

okay fine, it was me...but im not feeling repentant right now

mrsruffallo · 14/03/2010 20:51

You obviously aren't very happy here SEA

southeastastra · 14/03/2010 20:51

grr i typed out a reply what's with this site?!

OP posts:
southeastastra · 14/03/2010 20:56

i don't see what is wrong with questioning things, i wouldn't tell them maybe they would be happier somewhere else! that's so patrionising

OP posts:
curlimum · 14/03/2010 20:58

wasnt trying to be patronising, forgot to put "this is sarcastic" before post, soz!

southeastastra · 14/03/2010 21:01

was really you curli! just reminded me of occasions where people have said it to me. in rl too, that's probably why it winds me up!

OP posts:
southeastastra · 14/03/2010 21:02

was not! sorry

OP posts:
curlimum · 14/03/2010 21:04

phew, just thought i better 'fess up anyway

heQet · 14/03/2010 21:04

Questioning is fine. Saying mumsnet is shit, I hate x, y, z. Stop doing this, change it to that... which I have seen - is really asking for such a response, don't you think?

southeastastra · 14/03/2010 21:14

it's always gone on though heqet. seen it here all the time.
