to feel quite glad that the gorgeous blue sky is clouding over so I don't feel like I have to get out of bed and Do Something Wholesome?

DH has taken DD to his mum's. I am in bed mnetting. I have a bit of a headache and have spent the past 2 months with constant morning sickness feeling absolutely knackered, but still having to drag myself into work and look after DD.

The lovely sunny day with blue sky looks beautiful but always makes me feel slightly guilty about wanting to sit around and do nothing. I may pop out to get some bread so I can make myself some egg bread and bacon but that is going to be the extent of my wholesome activity today, sunshine or not.

I'm sure it's a British thing to obsess over nice weather, you feel you have to make the most of it as you never know when the next sunny day will be

Was just thinking exactly the same thing Bumperlicious...YANBU at all.

NB. I have only my own idleness/fact that DH is away this weekend as an excuse though, you are much further in the moral right IMO.

Me too, can hear that DH is back from a visit to his Mum's. I was in bed when he left and still here. Should get up and do something bracing, but meh it's mothers day and I will fester a bit longer.

Oh no! It looks like the sun's coming out here!

So just how wrong would it be for me to shut the curtains and hide under the duvet?

Bumperlicious · 14/03/2010 12:32

Not wrong at all Fouroffour!

The only thing that is going to force me out of bed is that I really want some eggy bread

There's something nice about being holed up in bed when it is lashing with rain and wind. Damn you sun!
