raarggh general rant about SORTING OFFICES

so i get my prize elidvered by special delivery
i am not in
i drive to pick it up
there is serious clamPing ( have been done beofre for £175) around SO wiht only THREE spaces on the road that are always full

so i hover in car and send in ds1(11)
they refuse to give it to him without ID Grr

he has a card they gave us and a bizarre surname.
so i rang up and said" do you not htink you could have mad a judegment call here"
did he really LOOK like a thief?
i have never been asked for ID in 7 od dyears...

grr

so nwo THEY haev to redeliver

YANBU about the lack of parking spaces but YABU complaining that they wouldn't give the parcel to your son. Imagine if someone you didn't know had got hold of the delivery card and gone in to collect the parcel and they'd given it to them - you'd be fuming.
