Lelli Fucking Kelly shoes.

AIBU in wanting to not EVER buy my DD these shoes simply because of their marketing? (I actually really like the shoes and wouldn't say no to a pair for me. )

We have had a long chat this morning and we have established that thus far (she is 6) she is still wise enough to know that clothes and stuff matter far less than kindness, or being a good friend. Long may her wisdom continue, but I'm guessing that being "popular" and having "stuff" will get more important as time goes on.

But the shrieky little harridans in the ad make me want to poke them with spoons. I think we might have to go back to Only CBBBC.

YANBU - I am so glad I only have a DS and will never have to buy these shoes. Pretty yes - pretty price - hell no.

I have not seen the ad. tried to google it but could only get on a site where you complain about ads. It seems a lot of people think like yourself that this ad is not really good. What does it actually say? is it a case of "if you haven't got 2pretty2 lelly kelly shoes you cannot play with us? if so YANBU at all.

Maybe you could not let your DD watch the ad so if you decide to get her the shoes because you/she like them she will not associae it with being the only way to be cool?

my DD (2.6) is on her third pair of Lelli Kelly's. I hate the fact that they have little make-up gifts with them but they fit her and are pretty. She has quite wide feet and they fit well. That said, she also has Start-Rite and others. We're shoe lovers!
