AIBU that yet again 'ds' has not go me anything for mothers day

By 'ds' I mean bloody DP. Last year he only realised it was mothers day around lunch time when we went shopping to Sainsburys. Has just come and apologised for 'ds' not getting me anything again this year. Don't get me wrong am not expecting diamonds, just be nice to get card and flowers for once. I mean it's not as if mothers day sneeks up on you is it?

I don't understand why he's told you now DS hasn't got you anything for Mothers Day. Mothers Day isn't until Sunday...that leaves tomorrow for Mothers Day shopping doesn't it??

He's had since last year to remember to get something for this mothers day so i'm really not holding out much hope with one extra day!

I went to the shop and gave my ds's £5 to go buy me something, the chocs are currently hidden in their room bless them.

Yabu . A kiss from your ds and a hug should mean more to to you than a box of half price chocolates night by your dh to keep the peace. Just hold your ds and be grateful.
