begging them to fix the roads!!! I swear you cant drive through one smooth road in the whole of south london, if its not patched up, its full of holes or barricades where thames water or similar is digging up.
We just got back from a long drive and my bum is in pain from all the bumps and humps!! DDs head was banging against her carseat while she was having a nap, i had to take my cardi of and put it against her face so she wouldnt get a bump!!
My council tax bill goes up every year without fail though!

Don't they have a fault reporting website? I live in Hertfordshire and they do. Report a fault and they looks at in in 24 hours and more often than not fix it pretty quickly. Hard winter has made things so dificult, though - roads are in a terrible state. But if you don't report it then probably nothing will happen

the list would be endless!! there are so many roads that we use almost daily and they are all so smashed up, even the south circular. Also there is construction going on in the 2 blocks next to me and the builders or developers have totally wrecked the road, the resident have complained but nothing has been done.

Part of the problem is that government allocates funds on £ per mile. So rural counties receive the same per mile of road as the densely populated areas where traffic is far heavier. It's madness.
