...when she said they are going to do bloods to test for menopause? I am 36 and have 2 DC. My husband does not want any more children so it seems we're done...it still really upset me though. I have no idea why...it just seems so final, and like I'll be suddenly old iyswim.

I was tested at 36 for the menopause because I had similar symptoms to you.
It came back fine. The GP has since decided that I should just live with it.
Hope you get some news soon and that it isn't anything too unpleasant.

Yanbu at all. That is hard to hear. For what it's worth, your dc are a double blessing,go & have a big cuddle.

YANBU - I am kinda in mourning now as I think I am probaly menopausal - hot flushes ans no periods for five months... but no periods for five months is a bonus. on teh otehr hand, someone who saw me on Satuday in a bikini told me how gorgeous I was looking Shock ( it was a woman my age, not a man!) so maybe this is a whole new era starting....

I went through this last year was put on HRT at 39 best i've felt for about 3 or 4 years but I did expect it early due to my sub-total hysterectomy at 30. Still hit me badly at first though.
