to just let my DD stay naked

she is constantly taking her bloody clothes off, it is doing my head in,

its not a rare thing either its every day when at home, within half and hour of being dressed they will be strewn across the floor.

How old is she? My DS (22m) takes his trousers off all the time, and we let him get on with it as long as it's only in the house.

I say as long as it's not a public place, let her get on with it. At the moment, there's still a chance she'll get chilly and change her mind.

I dont fight the naked thing if they are at home

Unless she's 16 or something, I wouldn't worry about it, let her be naked.

My mum despairs of me too, but to be fair, I keep them on now in her house.

lol, she 2y 10m, her solution to being cold is to say 'i feel cold, you feel cold? i need blanket' followed by getting her blanket and snuggling on the sofa.

My DD is exactly the same, although tends to be reluctant to get dressed even when we are going out. Not worth the effort to worry about clothes at home.

DD1 was exactly the same when she was little but at 15 yo she has thankfully long grown out of it

As long as you're in the house don't bother arguing, just be glad she's happy and comfortable.

Dd2 is almost three and loves being naked. As does my nephew, the first thing he does when he comes to my house is take off his trousers

If it's DH, less so, but DD? She'll learn

or next best thing is a witch costume (very warm..)

then clothes but prefers dresses/skirts with tights

I never minded if mine did want to take their clothes off but they had to have pants on.

My 7yr-old ds rarely wears more than just his pants when he's at home.

fab, I dont care if totally naked if its just us but they have to put at least knickers on if other people are in the house

That was why mine had to put pants on, in case anyone came round.

my ds is still the same hates clothes only wears his boxers in the house but he's 15.

My DD is 6 and is rarely dressed inside the house. Has always stripped off at the first opportunity.

Trinity, that's a little frightening, as dd had exactly the same order of coverage, but for witch substitute bridesmaid dress & veil.

The feety jammies were always the outfit of last resort, when toes went blue.

It's when they strip off in toddlers, or the ccrisp aisle at Tesco - WTF are you supposed tto do? Erica Roe had nothing on DD2 when it ccame to public clothes evasion.

tjhey have never shed clothes whilst out but its like a automatic button as soon as they get in

All chidlren have a naked phase when they're too IME! I insist on knickers at the table, and at least something on when we're out (even if it's a fairy dress as it was with DD3 once on a shopping trip!), but apart from that, what's the problem?
