AIBU to think it will be ok to go to a festival 6 weeks before my due date??

It is a 'family' type festival, not sex drugs and rock and roll and I had no problems at this stage with DS. We are planning to camp for a few nights

I didnt think twice about it but since booking up a few people have expressed surprise that I will be able to 'cope' with going to a festival this far on!!

Surely it is not a high risk activity!

Im going to Glastonbury when Im 7 months. I think you'll be fine.

Take a blow up matress, a foldable chair and a She Pee. And rather than pushing to the front of the rock stage, enjoy the gentler sides of festivals, soaking up the music and atmosphere while sitting somewhere quieter.

i don't necessarily think it's the festival itself, more how easy would it be to leave and get to a hospital if you need to. maybe as it's a small event, it would be okay- just research how close hospitals are etc. unless you fancy being in the newspaper due to having a festival baby!

I'd LOVE to be going to Glasto but I'll be 7 months then and since I'm in Ireland it'll involve a longer journey, so with some regret we gave up our tickets

If you're a seasoned festival goer and you're prepared for the realitie of festival camping, smelly loos, queues for a shower and possible extreme rain or extreme heat then you know what you're letting yourself in for and you know what you can manage and what you can't.

As SkaterGrrrrl said, I'd def be bringing a blow up mattress to sleep on and a foldable chair. Have fun (lucky bitch!!)

I know the type of festival you're referring too and I'm sure you'll be fine. Invest in a good air bed and a nice comfy chair if you don't have them already and the she pee suggested earlier is a good plan.
