Know how you feel. There is something quite compelling about it. Am hooked also!

ChairmumMiaow · 03/03/2010 18:36

Me too. Mine is because I am keeping out of the way of H on my allocated nights off until he moves out, and it helps me to feel less alone.

And he has a hyper toddler tonight apparently

YANBU. But only cos I do it too........

It is DH who is to blame as he got me this laptop for Xmas and now I can't stop myself.
I always dip in and out of Mnet and registered at the end of last Summer. Some of the wisecracks are hilarious lately and I could call it laughter therapy but I feel like an addict at the mo and it is also making me pig out while browsing today 12 rocky roads = 1200 calories I know I should go for a jog at at least on Ds's Wii fit, but I can't move from this chair. Is there a self help group on this?

welcome to the dark side my friend, never mind DH getting his own tea, it will soon be the kids getting their own tea, the dog will be licking them up as a wash/bath and you'll be sat there barking orders for someone to get you a brew. lol.

if you do feel you're too addicted thou you could always give your laptop to someone to watch?!?

bernadetteoflourdes · 03/03/2010 18:54

Thanks thesouthsbelle a tomed lock on the laptop might help. I do feel the family have lost me the last couple of nights, but it is too damned good. I feel really bloated though, wouldn't it be great if our fingers burned off hundreds of calories as we typed a bit like jogging.

I remembered how my addiction started it was that live thread about the girl who had a user friend living in the house and she wouldnt leave, she was supposed to be giving support to the op as she had had a new baby , but she morphed into the house guest from hell, the thread was bloody compulsive and should be made into a film.

yanbu - haven't you seen how many people are doing the exact same thing

nickytwotimes · 03/03/2010 19:09

He, he, well of course we'll tell you yanbu.

After all, we are doing the same.

HOWEVER I am now quite strict with myslef and do all the chores first. And I don't use it when ds around, but that is only because he won't leave me in peace.

It does take up most of my free time though.

I've had the odd break, but RL isn't that fantastic...
