ha ha! If you let her roll in cow pats you'll have to clean her.

Iklboo · 03/03/2010 13:57

That Woofa's not been round has he?

MmeLindt · 03/03/2010 14:00

"Would it be cruel to put her in the dishwasher?"

Genius idea!!

Scurries away to see if 3 large and muddy dogs will fit in the dishwasher

MmeLindt · 03/03/2010 17:22

Ackshully, did you see this Dog-o-matic Washing Machine.

Must have a look, I live very near France...

It costs ?15 though. Getting the dog groomed (shower, cut and blowdry) is only ?45 so I could take her to the Toilettage once a week and get her shampooed and set, like and old lady going for her blue rinse.

I once put my very muddy (had been wading in drainage ditches) ginger lab in the shower. She wasn't keen. That should have been my warning.

So much so she leapt out of the shower and onto the landing where she shook herself dry.....pebble-dashing every surface with muddy water. Oh TITS!!!!!

Bad dawg!

MmeLindt · 03/03/2010 18:17

Daphne always goes in the shower. She has to when it is wet outside. She is so close to the ground that she gets really muddy.

lol at pebbledashing

I'm very cruel. My three are hosed down in the garden before coming in in summertime or sponged down with a bucket of warm water in winter.

What if this .....'Dog Groomer'..... of which you speak??

My dogs are flat coated, longish legged country bumpkin types and not nearly as cute as the Lovely Daphne.

fruitshootsandheaves · 03/03/2010 18:28

I am even more cruel
Mine are hosed down in all weathers.

MmeLindt · 03/03/2010 18:29

Maltese are susceptible to cold, dontcha know. I read about on the net and all.

That is my excuse for spoiling her rotten.

Yes YABU. For calling a dog Daphne .

MmeLindt · 03/03/2010 18:56

Hmpf. She is very much a Daphne though. The name suits her.

Named after Daphne Broon, btw.
