Friend came over this after noon with children- a rainy day visit.
They were playing charades and she was givingthem animals to impersonate
She kept telling my children to be vile animals- pigs, elpahnts etc
Hers-bunnies and mermaids

What a coincidence

What's wrong with elephants and pigs?! Yabu

cory · 28/02/2010 22:37

Why are elephants more vile than bunnies?

mumhadenough · 28/02/2010 22:37

what's wrong with a pig or elephant???

OrmRenewed · 28/02/2010 22:39

?

mermaids don't exist. Why are elephants vile?

RedbinDippers · 28/02/2010 22:39

Never to late to return the compliment. Next time ask her kids to do snakes and worms. Changing topic a bit DH is only too happy to do an elephant impression.

ReneRusso · 28/02/2010 22:41

need more context. Are her children girls and yours boys? In which case maybe it was gender stereotyping.

but perhaps yabu

KurriKurri · 28/02/2010 22:42

My DH can do a good elephant impersonation, but it's not really family entertainment.

KurriKurri · 28/02/2010 22:43

Lol Redbin - we obviously have the same calibre of DH

moondog · 28/02/2010 22:43

Jesus.Paranoia at its best.

TheFallenMadonna · 28/02/2010 22:44

Not really?

ROFL at mermaids...

cory · 28/02/2010 22:46

Can I have a sticky bun, please?

StarryEyedandLaughing · 28/02/2010 22:47

KK - his last turkey in the shop is a source of constant embarrassment.

SpeedyGonzalez · 28/02/2010 22:48

mrsruffalo, I am deeply offended that you would start up a post about me on MN. If it upset you so much, why didn't you just mention it at the time?

ilove · 28/02/2010 22:51

confused.com!

ouryve · 28/02/2010 22:52

YABU.

Elephants are much loved in our house and pigs are so intelligent.

Bunnies eat their own poo.

YoMoJo · 28/02/2010 22:52

LOL how funny

KurriKurri · 28/02/2010 22:53

Starry

LynetteScavo · 28/02/2010 22:53

But it's easier to pretend to be a pig or an elephant than a mermaid..perhaps she thought your DC's wren't very good at acting/

LynetteScavo · 28/02/2010 22:53

Do bunnies really eat their own poo?

Joolyjoolyjoo · 28/02/2010 22:54

erm- you might be being a touch oversensitive- I probably wouldn't have noticed, tbh, just been happy that my kids were happy and entertained >

2shoes · 28/02/2010 22:56

yabu

SpeedyGonzalez · 28/02/2010 22:57

Only kidding, it wasn't really me

HellBent · 28/02/2010 22:59
