cyb · 25/02/2010 18:25

yes it felt like that

Andrew Marr had run past us a few moments before so Phil was a definite improvemnt

bibbitybobbityhat · 25/02/2010 18:28

Oh nonsense. There are some gems on daytime tv. Dr Phil and Heir Hunters, to name a couple. God, day time tv is 100x more entertaining than Mumsnet sometimes.

pointysayhiphip · 25/02/2010 18:30

long live the protestant work ethic

JeremyVile · 25/02/2010 18:30

Har. bet he was wheezing.

I loved the one with the barns that they got outbid for. I was mentally redecorating.

CoteDAzur · 25/02/2010 19:23

"Arrange some flowers"

Hahhahahahahahahhhhaaaaaaa

RoseWater · 25/02/2010 19:38

Try not to watch cos too easy to get sucked in and waste the day away like mn

Middle class, with leather sofas, ancient box of a tv, wears sports clothes only to gym but doesn't go very often

TweedyneeCole · 25/02/2010 19:42

I love nothing more than a day off, PJs on all day, rounds of tea and toast on the go and absolute shite on the telly.

I will happily sit through This Morning, Loose Women, Doctors, and I do love a good Channel 5 afternoon movie and a spot of Angela Lansbury,

I caught a few minutes of Neigbours the other day and recognised nobody from my days as a student in the 90s, so drew the line there...

tearinghairout · 25/02/2010 19:43

Yanbu. 'Tis a slovenly waste. What did people do before telly?

LadyBlaBlah · 25/02/2010 19:46

OP You have obviously never seen Maury

This is ultimate daytime viewing. The utopia that all Wrights and Kyles are yearning for.

BariatricObama · 25/02/2010 19:54

jeremyvile is so ovulating! twinkly indeed.

i had a girl crush on the attractive woman and was slightly bemused by her less attractive hubbie

NormalityBites · 25/02/2010 19:54

I agree with you. Wish someone would tell DP thoguh It's all Scrubs reruns the minute he walks through the door in the daytime....

I'm working class but I don't wear trackie bottoms, and have been at home all day today without the TV on once....working, housework and MN, yes, TV, no. Not fussed for it in the evenings though either really!

EggyAllenPoe · 25/02/2010 19:59

Is downloading specific series of daytime Tv shows to watch at leisure also bad?

i am a full on ANTM/BNTM/CNTM addict.

notes sofa is leather, though from ebay<

notes TV isn't over mantelpiece, because it is too large..<

aside from that daytime tv is the act of despair when it is raining, and the children are trying to kill each other running out of instructive things to do.
