Am I being unreasonable to wish Matthew Wright would make up his own topics on his morning chat show, and stop pinching ones from Mumsnet!!

I half watched this morning and my god he has got it so wrong.

It is surely 50/50 on here of love/hate for him ( probably not as representative of the general public as a whole, which would probably be more in the hate camp), and also lots of people defended him for nicking topics because that is what happens with the media - they swap stories, and need content - most of us do get that.

I think he sounded really really aggressive this morning about MN and mothers in general. It made him come across as ignorant and a bit of an ignoramus/pleb, but also a bit too nasty for the type of programme this is.

"Us sitting here in our Ivory Towers' etc and the fact that he thinks we are all SAHMs is just so very misguided. We just don't bother having the SAHM/WOHM arguments anymore because they are futile............and his programme too will stop having them in 12 months. Guaranteed. There is no resolution and no answer.

BUT MN is soooo not full of SAHM, I would hazard a guess that most people ( me included) do work, however a lot of people don't just do 9-5, and are their own bosses or work flexibly!?

I would have rung up and suggested that all mothers work, some work out of the home as well, some of us also have voluntary commitments and still have time to MN.

Haven't watched Home & Away for years, so can't comment on that one. But, if your liking for Jedward, Matthew Wright and John Barrowman's Show Music! (or whatever it's called) is anything to go by, I don't think I'll be tuning in any time soon
