What has being a mother got to do with being sexy? and if in fact it is because it's an experience thing..... that is not a compliment!

What happened to the old classics... 'you look pretty/ beautiful' ??

I thought it was just a porn term, so wouldn't expect it to be particularly complimentary anyway.

meltedchocolate · 21/02/2010 22:18

Mother I'd Like to F*ck - not a porm term

2rebecca · 21/02/2010 22:18

meltedchocolate · 21/02/2010 22:18

I think it's awful. Objectifying. YANBU.

Givenchy · 21/02/2010 22:19

Better than being referred to as an old scrag surely?

PeedOffWithNits · 21/02/2010 22:20

MILF is a gross term and the fact that you can get clothes for KIDDIES with stuff written on like "I'm with the MILF" beggars belief

It is a complieent I guess - not perhaps the nicest one but it's something I have heard quite a lot (maybe that's because I am a younger mum and it's a yoof thing innit). I had one girl shout 'MILF!' at me as I was pushing my dd across a field at Glastonbury last year - that was a bit of a suprise as I would not expect to hear that from a girl, but I found it quite amusing!

PeedOffWithNits · 21/02/2010 22:29

oh yes I am afraid so

chegirlshadabloodynuff · 21/02/2010 22:30

I hate the term.

My DS's birth mother set up a myspace account. She actually set up two. One was the usual soft porn, look at me, terrible grammer and text speak crap BUT it had a link to another one 'dedicated' to her DCs. She has a DD and my DS (who has been with us since he was 8 weeks old due to neglect).

She set up the second myspace in celebration of her motherhood . She listed the children's names in full and included some revealing photos of herself - topless, tongue out etc and some graphics for the children - playboy bunny for her 2year old DD and gansta style tigger for my DS.

And to top it all off, a huge banner headline MILF got two kids and STILL got it going on!

Oh how I enjoyed stumbling across THAT on the net. The joy of imagining my DS finding it (or his friends) in a few years time.

She is such a skank.

meltedchocolate · 21/02/2010 22:30

Yes, I am a young mum too.. and it was from someone younger than me. I told him why I did not appreciate it and why it was inappropriate. He did apologise to be fair but I am still not best pleased.

Of course its a porn term. It was invented by the porn industry! Why would you not think it is a porn term - where did it come from otherwise???

AnyFucker · 21/02/2010 22:35

no, it is not a complimentary term

what next ?

GILF ??

fucking awful, and a misogynistic term if ever I heard one

it's like saying you are a mother, but I would fuck you anyway

is there a male equivalent ?

NonnoMum · 21/02/2010 22:39

Horrible, horrible, horrible.

PeedOffWithNits · 21/02/2010 22:40
