To come here to ask for help finding a pub?

I'm struggling to find a pub somewhere near Clapham Junction to meet friends tomorrow. I'll have two under 2 and an appetite.

Is there a listing website for family friendly pubs? Beer in the eveneing etc seem to be tailored towards Camra memebers or getting laid..

Earl Spencer in Southfields on bus route from Clapham; great food and like a maternity ward on a Sunday afternoon. Yo need to be there by 12;30 for atable though.

Nice pub on corner next to Wandswroth Common train station too. Erm. Clapham Junction itself is a bit, meh, so venture a few minutes away from it.

The Fox and Hounds on Latchmere Road. Get there early- might be able to book.

The Lavender on Lavender hill- more a bistro than a pub but the food is good.

If you could get to Balham instead, The Grove on Oldridge Road serves good food and lets kids in.

I don't live in South London so can't recommend any pubs (we always end up going to Weatherspoons which always seem quite family friendly).

Was just wondering if you've heard of 'Baby Groove' as they operate from Clapham. They take a 'proper' night club but open it during the day (with all the lights on and don't have the music too loud, and it's usually Kylie etc...) - but it's somewhere all the family can enjoy themselves.

I just wished they operated in east London!

The White Horse on Brixton hill is lovely - good food/friendly relaxed atmosphere. Short bus / longer walk from Clapham Junc.
