I am 3 weeks PG and am SO HUNGRY, this is normal right?

however articles, suich as this one, say it's not
www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1252141/Eating-just-myth-Health-Service-advises-mothe rs-be.html

Its not just the DM either that says this.

But pg women are starving, so surely they should satisfy this hunger?

This wont stop my munching, but if so many PG women I know are extra super hungry it must be fine....

I mean 13 weeks, 3 weeks would be a bit greedy......

just remember to statify your hunger with healthy food not chocolate, crisps ect {i know its nowhere near as fun, i was a mars bar feind when preg with dc1 and it took me nearly 3yrs to lose all the weight i put on}

angel886 · 23/02/2010 22:04

I think you should eat what you want - but remember that it takes a lot of effort to shift the weight after!

CMOTdibbler · 23/02/2010 22:07

Fine to be hungry, but fill up on fruit and veg. You really don't want to put on a lot of weight - it's not good for you or the baby, and then you are left with it afterwards when it's hard to shift

I'm 12weeks PG and munching all the time, I find fruit snack boxes to be very filling.

Pikelit · 23/02/2010 22:14

Pregnancy isn't actually an excuse to trough out on lardy crap. Let alone a right!

Hmm, of course I agree with everyone's wise advice not to scoff bad stuff - but while pregnant with DD2 I went on the jelly-baby-and-popcorn diet (only things that stopped me feeling sick, mysteriously, between 8 and 12 weeks...)
