to never cut my hair ever again? And to let all my body hair grow until I resemble a gorilla?

DH has just asked me if i'm planning on having my hair cut anytime soon.

admittedly it is a bit mad and long at the moment and i do look like i'm turning into an aging hippy but.....

How very dare he?

I cut mine myself.

I think it's ridiculous what women are charged to have their hair cut if they're only getting a trim (no layers or colouring).

PeedOffWithNits · 18/02/2010 18:30

bugger, stupid computer!

diddl · 18/02/2010 18:33

I also do mine myself.

I have always hated sitting in the hairdresser.
The heat, the smell of hairspray[vom].

If I must have it cut by a hairdresser I get them to come to me.

Cheeky man. Does he have hair? Perhaps you could tell him you are getting a bit grossed out by his body hair and have booked him in for a back, sack and crack - hot wax, the lot.

EG YANBU but only if you chart your progress on a website. A bit like one of those thermometer things they used to put up to save church towers, etc.

thehillsarealive · 18/02/2010 18:51

not sure whether to congratulate your husband on noticing your hair at all or smack him in the mouth for being a cheeky arse.

EccentricaGallumbits · 18/02/2010 18:54

bastard always has a bit of a sneery look every time i say i want a tattoo too.

followed closely by 'don't let me stop you. you can do what you want. i don't mind what you do'

I hate the hairdresser, too.

They always cut it too short because I'm nearly 40 and they're of the mindset that older = shorter hair.

I hate sitting there, too.

I use that clip on YouTube that was posted on here once, where you flip your head over and do a side ponytail and cut and then scissor in.

EccentricaGallumbits · 18/02/2010 20:38

i'm too afraid of creating a mullet to do that.

or i may do that then see if 'D'H likes it.
