I have had my sparkly new iPhone for almost a week now and am v impressed.
DH is equally impressed and has just bought one.

AIBU to be narked? He doesn't "do" technology, won't even change batteries, he won't use a tenth of the functions, he only uses his Nokia phone to ring and never ever texts.... whereas I use almost everything on my phones!!!!!

I know I am being unreasonable really. I just felt like getting it off my chest and onto here!

violethill · 17/02/2010 13:27

Is it just your DH who pisses you off having one or all of us who have IPhones?!

heQet · 17/02/2010 13:27

Unless you can't afford it then it doesn't matter, does it?

But you know that.

upahill · 17/02/2010 13:27

Not sure what the problem is. Dh buys the phones in this house mainly because I couldn't careless which one I get and they go onto his business contract. We've had the same phones for years!

None issue

TrillianAstra · 17/02/2010 13:28

You clearly have good taste. And you are educating a technophobe in the ways of the iphone. You should be pleased. You are weird.

I wish we could afford one iphone. I do laugh though at people stroking them. DD thought someone had a small kitten in their hand. I am now wondering if her glasses prescription needs checking

we both have an iphone because my husband bought the two at once. I dont see the problem apart from that i have to turn it on to see which one is mine!

ShinyAndNew · 17/02/2010 14:19

Dh did this. I wanted a Sony Satio, but he persueded me to get another type as he thought it was better than the one I wanted. He then went and got the same phone himself. He had told me he wasn't upgrading his phone. He didn't tell me he had changed his mind, he just went and ordered it. Had he told me I'd given him mine and got him to order me the Satio.

Not only do I hate the phone, but I rarely have it with me because he gets confused about whose phone is whose and takes mine, or even, both phones to owrk with him

This is despite him having a photo of him and dd2 as his screen saver and me having a picture of candles .

Maleeka · 17/02/2010 14:19

Maybe he got the same one so he can "by mistake" check your texts!and he's not really a technophobe at all! Ooh i'm a suspicious one aint i

Nah, if he is a hopeless as you say, he probably got the same one so you can teach him how to use it

HinnyPet · 17/02/2010 14:19

LOL - I won't know which phone belongs to who as he has also bought the same bloody case....

Marmaduke where do you download that game from?

I haven't had a new phone in 7 years so an new phone was in order.

At least your DH thinks your phone his good enough for him, mine bought me a phone last christmas as a present but also got himself a much better one (admittedly i did put his old one in the washer by accident)!!
