He has put his name down for overtime so he is now working until 8 tonight and tomorrow.
Can't help feeling quite pissed off as he moans usually about been asked to do OT now he is volunteering during half term rather than coming home at 5 and help with the evening meal, bathtimes ,bedtimes and general noise that 6 children make during half term .

You have 6 children??? That, in itself is reason enough to be angry with DP in my opinion .

Seriously though, I'd be super pissed off bt I'm not a very rational lady.

Difficult one, as with all those dc I should think the extra money would help.

Now, if he was off to the pub for the extra hours, that is a difficult one.

On the other hand, he may well be volunteering for overtime in order to get out of half term and all it brings

I suppose the reasonableness or not depends on how badly you need the OT money. Assuming you need it quite badly, he probably hasn't even thought about the halfterm practicalities etc. Or do you think he's deliberately avoiding the chaos?

Comewhinewithme · 17/02/2010 11:31

I know he is doing it because it is half term.
