Bless him he's just going through the motions.

Half arsed performance of years old tunes, he can barely sing.

He once was a fucking Legend!

I'm just watching it again.

It's painful to watch

Look at him from the start with the award in his hand-emotion!
I really loved it!!

AnyFucker · 16/02/2010 22:42

not as painful as Saint Cheryl of Cole

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/02/2010 22:42

bloody hell
especially on this youtube clip. It's like an intentional art piece, blurry jerly etc.

He was just out of practice and older. His eyes are always a bit odd.

He's in a good place now, happy, getting married and thinking of babies......performing isn't his fave thing.

I was there second row! I agree!

Molesworth · 16/02/2010 22:48

OK, he has always had a crazed look, but not always empty and desperate.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/02/2010 22:48

Out of practice for a slot at the Brits? Purlease.

He has just lost it/ is on something/ both.

OP posts:
elsiepiddock · 16/02/2010 22:49

I so wanted him to be good, and am not even a fan!

It was flat and a bit cringey.

GypsyMoth · 16/02/2010 22:50

He doesn't perform much anymore...

domesticslattern · 16/02/2010 22:56

It was awful wasn't it. Just way too much car crash telly around at the moment.

amidaiwish · 16/02/2010 23:02

so sad, he was once a legend. I cringed watching him.

he got signed solo for 80million - so how can anyone feel sorry for him??? he is and always will be to me the fat one out of take that...he had his chance and squandered it. now he just looks off his face most of the time.

Gary Barlow was 'the fat one'?!

Plus an £80 million record deal isn't actually what it says on the tin....

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/02/2010 23:14

Herbie did you not look at his eyes?

OP posts:
Molesworth · 16/02/2010 23:16

Even in his crazed/empty/desperate state, he can still get a crowd going. But that made it even sadder (in a weird way I can't define)

Slartybartfast · 16/02/2010 23:18

i was impressed.
i know, i heard, he has had stage fright and i thought he was his usual self. and have had gone off him, but these little excerpts of songs, they suited me just fine, sigh, i thoiught he was lovely.

KurriKurri · 16/02/2010 23:18

Um ...I don't really get him. He's always seemed like a second rate cabaret singer to me.

HerBeatitude · 16/02/2010 23:20

No one of the Gallagher brothers referred to him as "the fat dancer from Take That"
