Hello, just wondering if anyone can help. I need some links to some proper research about the risks from partners smoking during pregnancy and for newborn babies.
My BIl is giving SIL the third degree re having so much as a sip of wine or a sniff of brie but doesn't seem to think that his smoking is a problem as he does it outside the house.
SIl is going crazy and really wants him to quit so that she doesn't have to be thinking - dp has had a cigarette, now I have to wait an hour can hold dc to be until his breath is clear. She also really wants to co sleep but knows that her dhs smoking makes this a big no no.
Can anyone direct me to some good advice, I think if he gets some proper scientific evidence then it will give him the kick up the backside he needs to quit. Everything I have been able to find for SIL is to do with the pg mother smoking, not the partner.
Many thanks in advance
