hippipotamiHasLost77lbs · 13/02/2010 19:30

picture or linky?? please...

Hassled · 13/02/2010 19:30

He's looking increasingly twat-like these days. There's some advert (Morrisons?) where he looks insane. It's a shame, because otherwise I like him.

darkandstormy · 13/02/2010 19:34

he is on bbc1 at the mo he looks so windswept.Looks like ken dodd

Ahhh, dh is watching something on 4 so can't get to 1. (ponders what would happen if I saunder into the living room and change the chanel with the words "I need to check RH's hair")

But yy to Morrison's ads - he looks deranged. And old. But mostly deranged.

Shame, I used to lurve him!

hippipotamiHasLost77lbs · 13/02/2010 19:39

channel - not chanel!

oldandknackered · 13/02/2010 20:38

It's called a mid-life crisis!

Alambil · 13/02/2010 20:40

you can see it here... I think it's ace

Givenchy · 13/02/2010 20:45

I still would though!

hippipotamiHasLost77lbs · 13/02/2010 20:49

OMFG Lewis... I just looked at your link and roffled out loud when RH came on...
What on earth has he done to his hair!!! He looks utterly, completely, totally ridiculous!!
It is awful, absolutely awful! The 'just out of bed or dragged through a hedge backwards' look is soooo not for him.

And he still has those awful bags around his eyes - he just looks so old and tired!

Sob. He was really handsome, once upon a time.

Now he looks like he needs pinning down and given a decent haircut.

hippipotamiHasLost77lbs · 13/02/2010 20:50

Givenchy - you are welcome to him. Once upon a time I would have, but now, nope...

maxpower · 13/02/2010 20:53

what disturbs me most is that my dh has started dressing like RH - what if he grows his hair to match???

Be kind to the poor man, he's not aging well, bless him.

Mind you, James May is still a bit of alright from a distance (she says with shame).

pennyrain · 13/02/2010 22:13

It all started after his accident...a wee bang to the head maybe?? or perhaps he's just of the attitude "fuck it...i'm gonna grow my hair and wear jewellerY cos i nearly died"

I still would btw

YanknCock · 13/02/2010 22:17

I remember discussing this on MN a while back and someone came on an bollocked all of us who were slagging off his hair. Apparently he grew it longer to cover up the scars from the accident.

(still think it looks rubbish though)

monkeyfeathers · 13/02/2010 22:20

He might have grown it to hide scars, but that does not excuse the style he's chosen. It's dreadful.

pennyrain · 13/02/2010 22:21

Oh didn't think of that YanknCock....feel wick now

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/02/2010 12:42

gawd knows

he was so cute+sexy in brainic, but the hair is def needing a wash+cut+blow dry

hippipotamiHasLost79lbs · 14/02/2010 13:00

I personally don't buy the 'hide the scars' theory. Because quite often, in the Morrison's ad and on Top Gear, the wind blows his hair off his face and unless he is platered in make-up I can't see a scar.
I also think scars would be a darn sight better than the scarecrow look he is currently sporting.
Poor hammie.

BalloonSlayer · 14/02/2010 14:48

There was another thread about him looking very feminine, and someone mentioned that they knew a man who had also started looking/dressing in a more feminine manner after a serious head injury, and therefore speculated it was due to this.

darkandstormy · 14/02/2010 15:37

sorry did not realise he had grown it to cover the scars from his accident,we will let him off then.Just this once mind.

Aww bless him, i still want to carry him around in my pocket tho

Pixel · 14/02/2010 18:46

I seem to remember his wife writing something in her column (Sunday Mail?) about him having long hair when they first met, so he is just going back to that. Either he's trying to re-live his youth or he's growing it because his wife likes it that way.
