This morning I got a phone cal from the counsel who said they'd had complants about noise levels from our house. Aparently, we offen play 'loud music until the early hours of the morning'. This is not true we had a party for my sons 18th last weekend and it was quite loud but we were only doing Abba karaoke which was a laugh. It wasnt even that loud.

We only have neighbours on one side as the other house is empty so it must be them whove complaned. They are old and quite stuck up. I'm furious with them and this afternoon I told them what I thought about them over the fense and asked them what teh hell there doing. Its not the first time theyve complaned either because weve had complants before about the noise. They said there going to call the police and thats not fair because I only gave back as good as i got.

AIBU?

Is there anything else, asbo,s ,noise, out of control bonfires, you sound like the neighbours from hrll

rainbowinthesky · 12/02/2010 21:13

Ahh, I get it. It's the 18 year old posting. Very teenagerish.

BitOfFun · 12/02/2010 21:14

Why do think you will get advice here? You should join this group and ask them.

BooHooMonkey · 12/02/2010 21:14

I think you should realise what you are doing. Write down all the things you have mentioned. I think you'll find if you read them back to yourself, you will hang your head in shame.

MadameMonkey · 12/02/2010 21:16

I am writing them down here. It is just what weve done. If the neighbours werent so bloody arsy theyd just put up with it. They have insurance.

And ive not posted as MadameMonkey before but I have been on here.

Well I am in Holloway now, obviously.

But I recommend a hit. I've slept far more peacefully now I know Big Brenda on the lifers' wing the bloody neighbours won't bother me no more.

MadameMonkey · 12/02/2010 21:18

Oh are you joking me mrsmargate? Do you mean a drugs hit or getting someone tapped?

ravenAK · 12/02/2010 21:19

Spelling's a giveaway. The odd forced mistake, like 'knew' for 'new'. Tis trippy trappy bollocks.

KimiLivesInStarbucks · 12/02/2010 21:19

Your 18 year old son was singing Abba, YABVU

MrsMargate · 12/02/2010 21:19

MM we unite in our shared initials!

Ignore everyone else on this thread. They have clearly never faced hardship like us.

The thing that used to piss me off most was when they used to bang their front door on Sunday mornings at the crack of noon on their way to church.

I mean, keep it bloody down, ain' choo never 'ad an 'angover?!

Selfish fuckers.

MrsMargate · 12/02/2010 21:20

I hired a ......... "cleaner"

expatinscotland · 12/02/2010 21:21

rainbowinthesky ive said before im not a troll. Im not a troll either just angry.'

If you're not a troll, you're a complete chav.

I've gotten neighbours like you evicted.

Fortunately, our last neighbour like you hung out with other chavs and was murdered so he can no longer ruin peoples lives with his parties OR the junk he used to peddle.

elmofan · 12/02/2010 21:22

mrsmargate - ROFL

ruddynorah · 12/02/2010 21:22

did your 18 year old son enjoy his big birthday singing abba karaoke with his mother?

BitOfFun · 12/02/2010 21:23

She looks fucking lethal...

MrsMargate · 12/02/2010 21:23

Guess how I paid for the hit? You'll love this: I only went and had our Wayne-Kai steal their car and flog it! Then our Dee-Ked burgled them (you'll piss yourself)while they was at church!

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAAAA!

Hoist with their own petard, I'm sure you'll agree. Innit. Innit tho'. Innit.

friendorfoedunno · 12/02/2010 21:24

i realy feel for u having inconsidrate neigbhbors same thing here. we hav regular barry manilow nights and both my dh and son love them and invite evryone from the pub round for a singalong. and what happens??? The effing neighbors complain evry time! pissers and killjoys thats what they are.

YoMoJo · 12/02/2010 21:26

Having lived above hellish neighbours, who thought it was ok to play loud music till 6am the next day because "we told you we were having a party" and "your baby wakes us up at 4am every night" and then ask us one Saturday afternoon to turn our washing machine off as he was trying to watch the football...

... Im going to say no comment

There is more to this than what you have told us...

Live & let live

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 12/02/2010 21:26

When you went to court about the asbo, what happened?

If I were you I'd be terrified about police being called in again.

Do you have other children apart from the 18yo?

People like this IRL aren't terrified of the police, DWP.

They see themselves as victims for not being allowed to do whatever the hell they want.

Because they're chavs.

thehillsarealive · 12/02/2010 21:31

I would love to have you as a neighbour - Abba is a favourite of mine, never mind the bit of wood between the garden, between my dogs and cat and your fire we would have a blast come bbq season.

whomovedmychocolate · 12/02/2010 21:32

Sod the fence, how are you going to pay for the bridge repairs from your constant trip trapping across. Tis very wearing on the mortar you know.

Did we get fed up of arse sex while I was away.....it is Friday.
