when two weeks ago we decided put off celebrating our aniversary for awhile because we couldn't afford it?

We don't exactly go on a luxury trip to Paris so much as a nice little Italian Restaurant near us.

Clubbing can be afforded but not our aniversary. Humph.

YANBU although perhaps he didn't spend that much?

I bloody hope not. Grrr.

Wouldn't mind, but it'll be "can you lend me a tenner?" by the end of the month. Arghh!!!!

Clubbing may well be cheaper than a meal for two, if he either doesn't drink anything, or gets his mates to buy him drinks. But it's still a little bit off that he thinks it's OK to spend money on himself when the household is skint. Is this usual, or was it a special occasion like his best mate's birthday or something?
