Now I appreciate that Gigglebiz is Armstrong & Miller for pre-schoolers, but nonetheless most of the dimwits portrayed appear to have Somerset accents

I am aware that having a Somerset accent is a Bit Shit and also that having a job at the baker's is actually a pretty fecking great career in these parts, but nonetheless I am starting to get a bit paranoid

Farmer Dung - ffs! It is properly offensive, I reckon.

DD4 is a proper TV addict but when she hears the first few notes of the Gigglebiz jingle, she screams that she wants me to turn the TV off. That says a lot about it!

I'm surprised some farmers haven't got more angry about farmer dung. I'm angry on their behalf! He can barely speak, and is named after shit...

I suspect the farmers in RL are too busy working to notice/watch Gigglebiz

He takes the piss out of posh accents too with his Bear Grylls sketch. I think you might be being a bit sensitive so on balance YABU.

I find his singing the most offensive - eurgh, that nasal whine that sounds worse than nails down a chalk board.

Gasps of shock and horror! We LOVE Justin in our house; he can do no wrong!

And he has plenty of other accents - Gail Force, Ann Teak, Captain Adorable and Rapids Johnson, Arfur Sleep ...

My DDs love it... and I have to say I think he takes the mick out of all accents, not just farmer / west country ones. Its just light hearted fun, take it for what it is - a kid's show.

dd3 cries if Rapids Johnson isn't on Gigglebiz!

YANBU that Farmer Dung should be removed from Gigglebiz - but my reason is rather different!

DH spent a considerable portion of his childhood in rural Zomerzet, and whenever Farmer Dung is on he then spends the next hour or so reviving the accent of his youth. Drives me fecking bonkers!
