I have a good friend male, who has a couple of times said he loves me (when drunk).
Recently he made comments (during drunken conversation) about all men being basically interested in one thing, while stroking my leg (thigh). ok just writing it out makes it look bad. He's a lovely friend and I don't want to stop being friends, but when he said this, i just froze, and I'm worried now that he's a bit offended, because he's been a little "off" ever since.

YANBU - it's his really clumsy and half-arsed way of saying he fancies you, and he's probably off with you now because he knows he's made a tit of himself.

I wouldn't say anything for now, but if he makes a move again just say you love being mates with him, but that's it. If he's a real mate then hopefully he'll accept this and stay friends.

Yes, sounds like it was a pass at you and now he probably feels very stupid. He'll get over it.
