Oh I feel so guilty now but couldn't help laughing at the time.
Fortunately she has forgiven me and found it funny too.
We met in the local park cafe for lunch today and as usual there was a lengthy wait for a table. We were standing chatting and a large group got seated so we walked ahead, only she did a funny robot type walk and fell over onto one of the tables.
She was wearing tights with a crochet pair of tights over them and the elastic must have snapped as the top pair were around her ankles.
Similar but worse has happened to me, so I feel justified in having stood there with tears in my eyes hysterically laughing.
We got some real sneers from a few people though. I had to help her waddle to the loos so she could take them off.
