to want to leave neutral feedback on ebay?

Similar thread to another one, but I really don't know whether to leave neutral feedback or just not bother.

I bought some party stuff for my DS recently on ebay. I asked before I bid if the seller would combine postage, she said yes.

I bought a few bits then I was sent an invoice which had an extra £1.14 added on. There was no explaination why. When I looked, it looked like she had added on what she should have deducted for the combined postage.

I sent a message asking why I had been charged extra, no reply. I sent another one saying I though she had accidently added instead of deducting, no reply. I sent another one asking for a new invoice as I wanted to hurry up and pay. I finally got the new invoice with less deducted than what had been added on with no explaination as to what had happened or apology etc.

I paid and finally got the items, which had an extra (and very overpriced) candle in .

I don't like leaving anything other than positive feedback (unless there has been a huge problem, which I have never had) so I prefer to leave nothing. However I have had an email asking for feedback and I'm not sure what to say as I wasn't particularly happy with the service but I'm not sure if it warrants a neutral feedback.

AIBU for not wanting to leave a positive message?

I wouldn't - just don't leave feedback.

It really bugs me when sellers (or buyers) email you to ask for feedback - especially when it's within a short space of time.

Yanbu to leave neutral feedback or none at all IMO.

I wouldn't leave any but I'm new to the whole thing,
I bought something last week, recieved it today, but the seller still has not left me any feedback, even though he recieved payment before posting, is this normal?

Yes that is pretty common unfortunately. Some sellers want to see what you say before leaving feedback themselves. This really pisses me off.

BTW, the seller did leave me positive feedback straight away.

I would email them back and say that unfortunately you feel that you are considering leaving neutral feedback due to overcharging and poor communication.

If you don't get any response within say 3 days, leave the neutral and explain in your comments.

If sellers ask for feedback I don't leave them any. It's rude and annoying to be badgered by strangers.
