To let my 10yr old DD and her friend watch a film at the cinema...

...whilst I wait outside?

The film is a U certificate (Alvin and the chipmunks 2) and the cinema is in shopping complex where I will wait for them with my 3 month old baby and a cup of tea

I think it's fine. Ds1 is 10 in under 2 weeks. He's been with a friend themselves (friends mother had younger child in another screen)

YANBU - i have younger children and watched the film. It was shite. The DCs, however, loved it.
