DO NOT drive at 60mph in the middle lane. and stay there.

If you are a trucker DO NOT think that because you are big you can drive right up behind cars to intimidate them, nor pull out suddenly to overtake another lorry going fractionally slower than you are, then crawl along overtaking for 15 miles.

If there are average speed camers DO NOT pootle along at 50 then slow right down to 45 as you pass the camers.

If visibility is low PUT YOUR SODDING LIGHTS ON.

If it is raining DO NOT put on your fog lights.

thank you.

how fast should you be going in middle lane?? i thought it depended on flow of traffic..

LouIsOnAHighwayToHell · 22/01/2010 19:36

Oh god yes!
How hard it it to remember to give way to the right????

Prinnie · 22/01/2010 19:38

I generally agree but if you're talking about the traffic managed section of the M42 then you're wrong - what ever speeds the signs say you should do. Sorry I'm just so fed up of them saying 60 and use all lanes then people driving up my arse because they don't realise the system. Ha when they get caught speeding though.

EccentricaGallumbits · 22/01/2010 19:43

the middle lanre is not to do with speed. it is a lane for overtaking traffic going slower than you are in the inside lane.

no. am thinking particularly of the 50 limit along the M4.
