Er, scuse me for being late for work sir, but i woke to find my house collapsed with my entire family under it, all my family and friends are dead apart from a couple who are critically ill with no medical help, as are, i presume, sir manyof your relatives? I woke with a slight headache myself in fact but that is no excuse for not getting to work on time, won't happen again sir'.

Fucking hell. 50,0000 people DIED. I am not surprised it took a little while to figure out wtf had just happened and comprehend it.
