Oh, gosh, I would adore it if my husband sent me to bed early. What actually happens is that I say I'm shattered, he talks about how nice it is to have some alone time once our daughter is in bed (she's a night owl, it's usually close to 9 before she's in bed) and then looks all disappointed when I want to go to bed. So I say okay, let's watch some telly for a bit and chat, and then it's 10 and once again I haven't caught up on sleep.

Well I get up at 6, and I do the night wakeups, so 10 is necessary. Sad, tragic, pathetic, but necessary.

I am not happy. Lights out at half 8, dh came up at 11, dd2 woke at half 11 for a cuddle + i gave her some meds + cream, and then we ALL slept until my alarm went off at half 7 that never happens!

So now I am bleary from too much sleep and DH is sooooo smug that he was right, grrr.
