You know when people suspect a troll and they go, "Interesting first post IAmANewPoster "?

How do they know? That it's their first post, I mean, not that it's a troll.

I can't make the search box work for me at all. If I type a poster's name into the search box, it doesn't give me all the posts they've made, it just gives me all the posts made my other people who have mentioned that name. This happens even if I type my name in.

I know I am undoubtedly being beyond thick, but will someone please tell me how to search properly?

Click on Advanced Search and then type the user nickname into the find messages by box. Then you should only return messages actually posted by that person.

I think anyway. That's the way I look up things.
