to think that the rescue workers should have been first to speak to the woman found after 6 days under rubble, not a reporter?

On the news just now. they found a bank worker who had been trapped for 6 days. they moved enough rubble to be able to get a mic to her, he was trying to interview this poor woman whilst she was still trapped!

could they not have waited until she was at least freed?

YANBU

That's awful, Can't imagine how she felt.

More compasion wouldn't go a miss. Damn Reporters.

Vile. That is not news-making: it is vulture-dom.

I have personally found this quite disturbing that reporters and photographers have not had the decency to allow people just a few moments to gather themselves without sticking a camera/mic in their faces.

I personally have found some of the images quite disturbing, not only because yes it is shocking what is happening but also the fact that they are plastering these peoples misfortune without a care for their dignity

Sorry for rambling

The journos are all after an award/scoop/prize (delete as appropriate).

Well said northernmonkey. It is insensitive and I thought the same thing. Her husband should have been allowed some time with her without Bill Neely (?) sticking his mic in her face.
