What about meat is it any good

I went in on Saturday looking for Royal Icing Sugar and thought it was the most depressing place - classic example of why discount supermarkets save you money - there's nothing in there you want to buy!

GhoulsAreLoud · 18/01/2010 19:10

We go in there to buy things like big boxes of Aerial washing powder.

It is really depressing in there.

It also reminds me of supermarkets when you go on holiday where everything is stacked up really high, it's dark and dingy and smells a bit funny.

Some stuff is v v cheap though.

MummyDoIt · 18/01/2010 19:11

Ours has bargains but some very scary people.

nickschick · 18/01/2010 19:13

We have a netto very near us and the offers are great and you can really make some great savings but itd be impossible to do a full family shop there.

I must admit our Netto then must be an exception to the rule.Very bright and airy staff all v pleasant and speak queens english.I do not buy meat but all the other stuff nowt to complain about tasty veggie samosas and onion bhaji pets do not like own brand food though.Kids like fromage frais etc .Must admit I do do a seperate veggie burger beans/lentils run elsewhere
