to not let ds's friend have dp's x-box gamertag?

Ok. Ds and classmate are 10. His classmate got his x-box for christmas along with Call of Duty. We have Call of Duty but ds has no interest in playing it (which is lucky as we wouldn't let him play it on his own). Classmate thinks ds is very lame because of this. He has requested ds's dad's gamertag as he wants to link up with him.
AIBU (should be AweBU really)not to give it to him on the grounds that 1) It's not appropriate for dp to play a 15+ game online with a 10 year old when we wont let our own 10 year do it. 2) (not sure if this is me being a bit spiteful)That he hasn't even asked ds for his gamertag. He just wants dp's.
His parents seem to think we're being unreasonable. Are we?

I'm with you on this, stick to your principles.

YANBU at all, these games should not be played by children, and by letting this friend have your dp gamertag would encourage this. His parents are being VUR by letting their ds play games that are inappropriate for him
