So we meet again! 'Tho I believe I attained my peak on the high seas during the possible pirate episode, I am intruiged by this latest sniff of adventure.

Are all present and accounted for?

Hullygully · 19/01/2010 14:56

We lack MsMary, but hopefully she will be along once she has finished pamphleteering and shaving.

Now, let us be brave and trust Mr Carter Oh my gracious!

Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Umami · 19/01/2010 21:10

(Ahem)

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!

CaptainDarcyCasuabonHenchard · 19/01/2010 23:28

In fact, lots of groan. Realise I am a complete tosser (as revealed on another thread), and will now stop posting altogether.

Good luck, Gels. Wish you all well in Luxor/Mongolia/wherever you find yourselves.

MadameDefarge · 19/01/2010 23:36

Fie on you, Captain Darcy! Can you not See that Mme Umami, intrepid adventuress that she is, has descended the recently uncovered steps into the the Pharoh's tomb, to be confronted by the most appalling etchings of debauchery known to man! Even a lady, lately issuing from the Sheik's tent, has no previous knowledge of that portrayed in these frescos!

And yet, and yet, what hideous apparition shows itself in yonder chamber, crammed as is it with pots bulging with precious inguants, statuettes fashioned from precious metals and treasures beyond price?

What evil breath flashes over us? Tis the curse of the mummy!

Save Nigel, for gods sake, save the child!

MadameDefarge · 20/01/2010 00:03

aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

AGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Nigel has been swooped upon by evil, feathered, winged creatures of the night!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

CaptainDarcyCasuabonHenchard · 20/01/2010 03:12

Mimi (you fine-looking gel, you). S'welp me, what are 'inguants'?

On t'other hand, I stand ready to save little Nigel from himself his mother any danger that threatens!

Behold me with unsheathed sword!

(Err, or was that James? Or Lester? Doing the unsheathing, I mean.)

For ol' times sake - let's get tallying ho, gels!

Umami · 20/01/2010 05:45

I am ready to tally my ho, though someone may have to help me.

(What ails thee good Captain?)

MadameDefarge · 20/01/2010 06:30

oops, unguents of course...

Hullygully · 20/01/2010 08:04

Mimi, what watches of the night you do keep. Sleepeth you not in your questing and thrusting? And Darcy what sad revealing was this? We are much fond of you and will go forth and blaze upon the other thread whereon this happened.

But oh! Oh! The evil winged Egyptian flying mythical cratures do have Nigel in their grasp and soar overhead, up the dank steps and burst forth from the tomb. Nigel! I hear his piteous thin wailing. We must save him.

we are accursed..accursed..

OP posts:
Umami · 20/01/2010 08:42

Do you know, I think they may have been flying monkeys! Oh what a world! How will we follow them? If only there were some other mythological beasts nearby whom we could ensnare for our own means. Or, mayhaps, a daVinci-esque flying machine being ridden by an eccentric, but ever-so-willing inventor!

GibbonInARibbon · 20/01/2010 08:44

NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hullygully · 20/01/2010 09:01

Oh! Poor Gibbon dear! See how the milk spurts forth (lot of 'forths' this morning) and soaks her bodice! It spills up and runs in streams and soaks her dress! Tis not, altogether, quite seemly.

But what shall we do? Who will help us?

But what is that monstrous shadow that near blots out the sun?

OP posts:
Umami · 20/01/2010 09:23

Ah, verily forsooth, that explaineth why my own breasticles are so very leaky, 'tis clearly maternal sympathy with poor Gibbon's plight.

GibbonInARibbon · 20/01/2010 09:41

(tis getting very Biblicalesque)

Oh my dear friends what are we to do! Nigel has been ripped from my breast and now I am bereft....oh ladies we must find him!

Umami · 20/01/2010 09:49

And Gibbon begat Nigel......

Hullygully · 20/01/2010 09:49
OP posts:
GibbonInARibbon · 20/01/2010 09:52

So what are we to do? What was that winged beast that ripped Nigel from us? Who sent it and what could they want with Nigel?

Umami · 20/01/2010 09:57
Flightattendant · 20/01/2010 09:59

Can someone please just let me know if hully has gone completely mad...I'm sure she never used to be like this

GibbonInARibbon · 20/01/2010 10:01

Ah see this is the only Hully I have ever known, I'm rather fond of her truth be told

Umami · 20/01/2010 10:01

'Tis the loss of Nigel, Flight, it has caused her to lose her mind.

Flightattendant · 20/01/2010 10:03

i see...I can comprehend the devastation, having once lost a nigel myself...[sobs delicately into small kerchief]

poor, poor hully.

GibbonInARibbon · 20/01/2010 10:04

Can we remember that Nigel is my baby.

Can we beef up the grief for me please
