Thank you Sir, I-i-i-i-i-i would be grateful for your aid. Oh, M-m-m-m-m-ms Hully, I am so s-s-sorry, I will t-try not to s-s-stutter so. I only do it when I'm nervous. Our Liuetenant, Mr Fitzwilliam Casuabon-Henchard, is away to the village to order up entertainments for the evening. It is our new Captain who w-will be hosting luncheon. I think he may have spent some tim in this part of England in his past, for it was he who insisted we sojourn here, though we are s-s-supposed to be in the North.

2ndLt - Hully likes it a bit rough, you are being far too, how can I say this in a polite manner....wet.

M-m-m-m-miss Gibbon, I am afraid I do not know your meaning. Do you mean she prefers gentleman with a more substantial moustache? I confess, I have t-t-t-t-t-tried to grown mine, but all I can gather together are these few wisps. I had hoped my l-l-l-l-l-large whiskers might seem compensation to a lady for the lack of a 'tache, but r-r-r-r-really, I don't see how I can make myself any rougher.

Hullygully · 26/01/2010 13:14

Now now, calm down Beaulieu. An ample and well-flourished swordstick can more than make up for deficiencies in other areas. Later, we shall watch you perform in the manly arts and withhold judgment until then.

My dear Hully, my ability to eat three capons before breakfast is one of my many accomplishments. And I am many people, though most of them can be seen within these halls.

I thought it best to modify my appearance slightly, as my departure from these shores did not go unnoticed by the Constabulary. Do you see I am also four inches shorter than I was?

Hullygully · 26/01/2010 13:18

Ah yes, I had quite forgot the constabulary.

Umami · 26/01/2010 13:20

(Yes, there are a couple of mes that have not ventured here!)

Hullygully · 26/01/2010 13:26

(Have I met them elsewhere?)

OP posts:
Umami · 26/01/2010 13:29

(Errrrrm.........no, except perhaps by the odd coincidence! I am a Nobody)

Umami · 26/01/2010 13:29

(But would love to know if someone thinks I'm Somebody)

Hullygully · 26/01/2010 13:31

(I think it was Bibbity demanding your unmasking on the troll thread yesterday. I was surprised. I thought you were you.)

OP posts:
Umami · 26/01/2010 13:33

Oooh, have I been accused of trolling?

Umami · 26/01/2010 13:36

(I usually live on my post-natal thread with occasional forays into Food and Recipes, but feel more outgoing in my new Umami outfit)

Hullygully · 26/01/2010 13:36

(No no. It was the thread ABOUT trolling, can't remember if you were on it or not, or just asked about. Bibs was asking MsMary if she was X and I wanted to know who X was, so she said she'd trade X for the unmasking of your goodly self. But I couldn't unmask you as I didn't know you had one. And then MsMary dropped me a clue re her X-ness anyway. Goddess, MN is exhausting)

OP posts:
Hullygully · 26/01/2010 13:37

(What is your post-natal thread? I don't believe you've really got a baby, or else you've got a dead expensive 24/7 nursey person)

OP posts:
Umami · 26/01/2010 13:38

(Am a bit sad that I am not anyone exciting for you to unmask.)

(Actually, I am BoF)

(And SGB)

(And UQD)

MadameDefarge · 26/01/2010 13:38

No one has ever accused me being a troll, boo hoo!

Umami · 26/01/2010 13:39

(Definitely have baby! But he is velcro and I am mostly MNing with one hand and bfing with the other!)

Hullygully · 26/01/2010 13:40

Ah, but do you troll, fair Mimi?

OP posts:
Umami · 26/01/2010 13:41

I call troll.

MadameDefarge · 26/01/2010 13:42

Um, no. Occasionally lose my sense of decorum on a thread and break my MN rules of no swearing or personal attacks....but only under extreme provocation (and perhaps a glass of wine or two
