Big acts make vast sums of money from playing private parties. Almost all of them do it. Libya is a fully recognised state, not subject to any sanctions. Gadaffi's son isn't implicated in any international plots. Can't see what the problem is. As for "aren't they rich enough already" line, well - what kind of fool would pass up £1.5m for a short, private job that entailed noting out of the ordinary and was not illegal? Would you?
