I desperately want one but can't get to the shops until the DC's school open and I can make the long trek into town on foot (actually, as its a 3 mile round trip and I will be carrying a rucksack of food supplies on the way home, how many Creme Eggs will I burn off? )

yabu..creme eggs should only be allowed out at easter time...its makes them extra special....it is no way near easter time...and i am trying to diet...so they should be no where near the shops!!!

I thought the display in our local Sainsbos had already been emptied once, but then wondered if I had fantasised it.

DS born last March was 50% creme egg at birth, so I was trying to be more restrained this year. Relieved to find that I have clearly achieved it .

I had a hot cross bun a couple of days ago - a few years ago I would not have done this, thinking "they're only for Easter". dp started bringing them home as and when and slowly I given in

DD nicked the packet of mini cream eggs I secretly bought for myself the other day. Grrr.

I had my first one yesterday. The petrol station was doing 2 for 90p and I have 3 DDs so had to buy four.

I scoffed it so quickly, I can't actually remember whether I enjoyed it or not.

I have already gorged on them.

Ah but how do you eat your Creme Egg? I scrape the filling out with my finger then pop the whole egg into my mouth. Yum!

DH and DD love them. They are selling the boxes of 3 in Tesco so weird that this thread should be here as I bought some yesterday. DH had one with a cup of tea last night, DD had one after her dinner tonight. There is one left. It will be a fight as to who gets it, unless DS2 finds it and scoffs it first.
