Flippin' heck. I only wanted to name change for a laugh with someone off site. I have been all round the houses several times.Entered my email addy and looked at every option available. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum.

Where the hell is it? The name change thingy? And why is it hidden from PMS stricken beings who only want a quiet life(and a laugh).

Go to MyMumsnet, and you can change it there

Yep,my mumsnet and registration details

My Mumsnet (pale blue tab at top of page) Log in with email address & normal password. Click on Registration details. Look for a box labelled Chat nickname., which will have your current name in. Delete that, put in the one you want & click Save Changes. It will tell you if the name you want is already taken.

Depending on your computer settings, your new name may appear automatically in the Nickname box under the message box, or you may have to put it in yourself.
