Had a accident which involved a trip to doctors

burnt my face,shoulder and chest area on some soup its very painful and I look a idiot with a bandage on my face, Have a big bday to go to sat aibu not to go.
Can not even wear makeup if I took the bandage of , and I have to wear it to monday oh why me im so clumsy.

I you feel terrible then don't go to the birthday party. No-one would think any the worse given the circumstances!

Poor you! Hope you are ok? I wouldn't bother with the birthday thing, unless you really want to go and it's with close friends, in which case go with the bandages on.

Thanks to you both its at the pub so may speak to doctor to see if I can take the one of my face for the eve, Im not worried about wearing make up but dont know if I would go with bandage on face.
